Philip Eaker Case Study # 2 1 – A comparison of Sony’s foreign websites from Argentina, France, and Germany. In my review of Sony’s music oriented websites, I found that Sony must use independent contractors to do their regional websites. Each of the three websites I reviewed, Argentina, France, and Germany, had very different looks and interaction methods. I would imagine that while this is very culture friendly, the costs it takes to maintain each regions websites is a large expense. Argentina was interesting to see because the front page was adorned with a large, flashy link that showed featured bands and music specials. As you scroll down from there, it turns into a long row of tall, narrow columns that showed artists with a narrative about them. While confusing and inconvenient to me, it is probably very culturally specific for that region. Surfing over to France was quite a different experience, as it was an information packed,
