The dictionary defines capitalism as an economic system in which the means of production and distribution are privately or corporately owned and development is proportionate to the accumulation and reinvestment of profits gained in a free market. Now in the past few years we have seen what capitalism has done to America. We have been forced to give up our money to wealthy business owners who have been caught trying to tarnish the American economy. If anything capitalism is filled with crime and corruption. The crimes are things such as insider trading, fake insurance scams, covering up bribes as CEOs fixing the books to hide loss and absolute theft. There has been corruption in the American government since we first gained freedom from the English. For example, 1797 Senator William Blount was expelled from the Senate for trying to
