There are 3 different part types from customer 1: Part 1, 2 and 3. The inter- arrival time between successive part arrivals (all types combined) is exponentially distributed with a mean of 13 minutes: the first part arrives at time 0. The distribution by type is 25%, Part 1; 49%, Part 2; and 26% Part 3. For customer 2, there are two different part types that arrive from this customer: Part 4 and 5. The arrival process is in addition to and independent of the arrivals of parts from customer 1. The inter-arrival time between successive part arrivals (both types combined) is exponentially distributed with a mean of 15 minutes: the first part arrives at time 0. The distribution by type is 40%, Part 4; and 60% Part 5. Each part type visits a different sequence of stations (cells) and the part steps and process times are given. There are 4 cells in total.
