Green River Public Library June Newsletter Green River Public Library is located at 5804 Collins Avenue. The phone number is 435- 555-8024. We provide books, audio tapes/ video tapes and DVDs. Our hours are: Monday – Wednesday 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. Teen Summer Reading Program Sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Program starting June 15. This program is for students age 13 and up. They will read and participate in activities and prizes such as food coupons, movie money and gift certificates t a music store. The Grand Finale Party and drawing for the prizes will be August 5, 2006. To volunteer, please call 435-555-8024 Friends of the Library The Friends of the Library Association is a volunteer association that supports the Green River Public Library. It is dedicated to promoting interest in the library, provide funding for the library’s special needs, and organize the annual Friends of the Library Book Sale. Donations for the Book Sale

The association appreciates donation s of the following items: Hardback and paperback books Books on tape CDs Puzzles and games Videos Movie and Popcorn Night Join us for the Summer Movie Series every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. Pick up a schedule at the check out desk, or view the schedule online at www.greenriverlibrary.org. Newberry Medal Winners It is important to select good books to read. Each year the American Library Association awards the Newberry Medal to an outstanding book published during the previous year.
