Back Wheels Elastic Strip ‘Stopper’ Cross Member ‘Axle Holder’ Cylindrical Flank Front Wheel Hole for cross -beam Design 2 Structure and Assembly As shown in Figure 6, the general structure of Design 2 was based on cylindrical flanks joined together to make the main body, to which the axles and thus wheels were connected. Figure 6 Design 2 General Structure ( edit) Main Flanks 1. An A4 sheet of paper was rolled into a hollow cylinder of diameter 2cm and secured with adhesive tape. 2. This was repeated to increase the thickness of the cylinder. 3. The whole process was repeated to produce a cylinder of 3cm diameter. 4. Then the thinner cylinder was inserted into the thicker cylinder as shown in fig. . 5. A hole was drilled through the area of overlap between the two cylinders for a fixed cross beam.
