HEMORRHAGIC DISEASES Humans are not the natural reservoirs for any of the hemorrhagic diseases Humans can become infected when they come into contact with infected hosts and sometime can then transmit to another human. Human outbreaks are sporadic and are not easily predicted.

HEMORRHAGIC DISEASES Most viruses are zoonotic ± Animal host (rodents) ± Arthropod vector (ticks, mosquitoes, etc.) Hosts of some viruses remain unknown ± Ex. Ebola and Marburg Humans are infected when the activities of the natural hosts or vectors overlap with humans.
