HOMEWORK NO. 1 CE 3400 – Introduction of Environmental Engineering Material Covered: Chapters 1 + 3 in Vesilind et al., 2010 Due Date: Wednesday, 1 September 2010 at 1:10 PM Remember: no late homeworks will be accepted! Please use word processing software to prepare written responses to discussion questions on a separate piece of paper (Q1-5). All quantitative problems (Q6-12) must be prepared on green engineering paper. You should state all assumptions in solving problems and clearly show the logical progression of your solution.
