Today, leading financial services firms are upgrading their ATMs. These improvements will result in increased functionality of ATMs which includes new capabilities such as deposit processing with image-enabled ATMs. This will accelerate availability of funds, especially for very busy business people. Also, it will benefit to the bankers because of lower transactions cost. The results of this feature have been so encouraging that one of the biggest financial services firm JP Morgan Chase plans to implement image-scanning into all of its ATMs by the end of the year 2010. Another area which is going to be improved is personalizing customer’s ATM experience. Machines will remember customer’s preferences and also with new generation of ATMs
