The element types used are VISCO106 (2-D 4-node viscoplastic element), VISCO108 (2-D 8-node viscoplastic element), and VISCO107 (3-D 8-node viscoplastic element), respectively. The rate dependent viscoplastic model proposed by Anand is used in this problem. The plane strain condition is assumed along the Z-axis. The velocity of 0.01 cm/sec in X-direction is achieved by applying x-displacement of 0.2 cm in 20 seconds. The shear load is computed from the solution results in POST26.
