THE FUNCTIONS OF 2 Abstract In this discussion on All-In-House manufacturing, I will be telling the way I chose to manufacture my software product and why I made this type of manufacturing decisions. I will also be explaining the four phases of manufacturing management has to deal with from controlling, organizing, leading, and planning to packaging and shipping of the product.

THE FUNCTIONS OF 3 The Functions of Management There are four functions in management planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. In planning you must set goals for your company, like when and how long will it take you to reach the goal. The easiest way for me to explain this is by using my own business Economy Builders. I would have so many houses to trim out, what I mean by this is I had to install the base board, the door jams and doors, door casing, the chair rail, window seals, window trim, and any other trim that the house needed. Let’s say I have twenty houses to do and I have to have them all done in one month. In planning for this I have to have these houses done in one month and they all have to be completed so my goal is to get them all done in the time frame I have. Now is when organizing comes into play, I have to figure up haw many people I will need to do the job on time and what tools will be required to do the job and who will do what job. That is what organizing is.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
