EXTRA CREDIT DOLLAR STORE AND LOUIS VUITTON STORE Those two stores are totally opposite and represent two different worlds. Not everyone can go in a Louis Vuitton store and feel right in there. The more impressive thing is that the store has a lot of security. There are security agents at the doors and inside the store in each level. In Louis Vuitton, fellow shoppers (people who actually purchase products in the store) are really well-dressed, seem well-educated and to have a high pay-check. Not everyone can afford a $1000 bag. There are also middle-class people; who are in the store just to look at the products. In the Dollar Store, fellow shoppers are from all social class. But there are more people from the middle and low social class. This can be explained by the fact that the cheapest product in Louis Vuitton costs around $50 (for a keychain) and the cheapest product in a Dollar Store would be $0.10.
