EXTERNAL CRITERIA Quality might be assessed via external criteria, such as those described by the International Standards Organization. Over a hundred countries belong to ISO, which has recommended standards for manufactured goods. There are also symbols which might be included on the product’s packaging such as kite marks, which show that a product meets safety standards.
