Club IT Page 1 When looking for a great place to relax and have fun, Club IT is the place to go. The pleasing atmosphere combined with the wide variety of music and foods make it a place to unwind after a hard days work. The entire club has been remodeled to make it more appealing to their customers. A change in the club’s Information Technology will assist in the necessary progression towards opening another club location. The first thing that will need to change is that they need to implement a point of sale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This will organize all of their daily process of the club information into one local place. The system that they are running now is not able to keep track of inventory or food supplies. Currently, Club IT is run manually; their paperwork is done by hand and that definitely needs to change. They will need to upgrade their current system to an ERP system and potentially carry that system over to the other location that they intend to open. By implementing a POS system this will allow the wait staff to communicate via computer input from the club to the kitchen. This will ensure for accurate orders and less running for the wait staff. Inventory will be counted an accurate via computer. Supplies will be ordered in a timely fashion to prevent any shortages in the club. Club IT also will need to update their website to be more user friendly for their customers. To allow them to have easy access to event tickets and merchandise that the club sells. The club is owned by Ruben and Lisa; they have a devoted and caring team that tends to the needs of their customers. They are fully staffed with an Assistant Manager, four bartenders, six servers, two stewards, two cooks, and four security people. They provide their customers with food and beverage services combined with great customer service. They also provide club merchandise for sale at the club.

Club IT Page 2 Club IT’s website is not user friendly. The website should be organized to be able to sell merchandise and club event tickets. If the website is updated with easy access for the club’s customers, this will increase sales and make their customers happy. Customers look for an easy way to get what they need. To be able to purchase tickets online, will guarantee a repeat customer to shop online again. I suggest hiring an outside web designer to customize a website to suit their needs to increase profit. To keep this organization moving forward and ensure that it keeps expanding they need to expand with it in regards to information technology. “To do that, they must achieve the short term, especially getting data electronic, for that will allow them to innovate and improve in countless directions (Saffo, 2005). What they will want to do for future goals is to set the standards for themselves of where they would like to be in 10 years. Installing a new ERP
