Chapter 13 Assignment Jinho Park 1. Why doesn’t Lewin’s Change Process work for the white water rapids type of change? - Because in Lewin’s Change Process, change is considered as simply a disruption to the organization's status quo-the way things are right now. It views change as a response to some occasional disruption in an otherwise calm and stable world. 2. How well do you cope with turbulent change? - Well, I believe I can somewhat cope with turbulent change. As a student studying management, this is important point, I think. Managers should prepare and ready to face any unexpected change. 3. If change is continual and constant, how can managers ever hope to manage it effectively? - I think that’s big challenge that every manager has to deal with. The way managers changes manage efficiently is that they should be prepared and are aware of the changes that is coming suddenly. And try to pursue the changes and don not allow change is going to go away. 4. Explain Lewin’s Three Step Model of the Change Process.
