Special emphasis placed upon the interrelationships of the stages of development of the normal person. OVERALL OBJECTIVE: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have acquired a general knowledge and understanding of human development from scientific studies and major perspectives, a general knowledge of terminology and concepts within major research findings, and theories based on developmental strategies in the field of psychology. TEXTBOOK: Development Across the Life Span. 5 th edition. Robert Feldman RESEARCH COMPONENT: Students will complete critical thinking exercises using research from the textbook.
