Original estimated OH is wrong and we match it after we’ve reviewed it. How can you provide higher quality at a lower cost -to eliminate waste. Why is it important to know the difference between features and benefits when making decisions. -you cant use the word beneficial to describe a benefit! Use use, value added, etc. a benefit means you get extra value. A benefit is a feature you can use. A feature is something it does. List 3 items from the rules or guidelines from Spreadsheet Design or class presentations and give a short description of at least one benefit for each item in your list. Spreadsheet: 1. Have no numbers in the computations or output section- this helps to ensure cells update appropriately. 2. Have no more than 6 layers in a formula- This makes your spreadsheet easier for the next person to use. 3. Protecting cells that shouldn’t change- people can’t accidentally change the cells you don’t want them to. List 3 elements mentioned in the speech by the VP of Ford that appear in this class as elements of lean, or WCM business and list the element it is a part of. Focusing on what the company is good at- not what everyone else is good at Providing the customers with great value- retaining resale value by not having confusing pricing schemes streamlining processes and eliminating waste- closing excess plants MOH acct had a $670 credit balance. The FG and WIP inventories had zero balance had zero balances. Record the journal entry to close the MOH acct. The ending OH balance is not significant. MOH Applied 670
