I1 =  120/R1 = 120/40 =  3 A I5 =  120/(R5+R8+R9) = 120/(30+10+20) = 120/60 =  2 A I2 = 120/(R2 + R3||(R4+R6+R7) ) = 120/(12 + 10||(5+15+20)) = 120/(12+(10||40)) I2 =  120/(12+8) = 120/20  = 6 A         I3 =  I2* (R4+R6+R7)/ (R4+R6+R7 + R3) = 6*40/50 =  4.8 A         I4 =  I2 – I3 = 6.0 – 4.8 =  1.2 A b. Vab = Va – Vb = I5*(R5+R9) – I4*(R4+R7) = 2*(30+20) – 1.2*(5+20)
