Prob 8-29 Fig 8-84 Use mesh analysis to solve for loop currents.   Use results to determine I and Vab As an alternative: solve using source conversion and nodal Node b will be designated as Ground and node a as the unknown. a. Source converting E1 and R1 yields: I1 = E1/R1 = 2/40 = 0.05 A Source converting E2 and R2 yields: I2 = E2/R2 = 8/80 = 0.10 A Source converting E3 and R3 yields: I3 = E3/R3 = 12/60 = 0.20 A b. Writing the node equation at a: Iin = Iout I1 + I3 = 0.10 + Va(1/R1 + 1/R2 +1/R3)  => 0.05 + 0.20 = 0.10 + Va(1/40 + 1/80 + 1/60)
