Title:What are Sadker’s evidence showing that women are shortchanged in American? According to the writer,many male students tend to be spotted in the class but women tend to become silent.The writer takes a research on the behavior of male and female students in college.He found that man are twice likely to monopolize the discussion in the class and women are twice as likely to be silent.College seems like the showcase for men but not women.Catherine Krupnick,the person studying classrooms at Harvard,discovered a gerder division.In the class,males perform and women just watch.Even though women speak,they are probably interrupted by male students and have less time than male to revel their opinion.Bernice Sandler and Roberta Hall also found that professor gives males more nonverbal attention.These professors make more eye contact with men,wait longer for them to answer,and remember their names more likely.
