Title: The way of writing a focused college paper ESL 33A students are required to write a focused college paper since 33A is the first class in the ESL series provides transfer credits. However, not every 33A student is brilliant at writing a focused college paper. This paper is written to give a brief instruction to 33A students about how to write a focused college paper. A focused college paper should include a claim paragraph with introduction, supporting paragraph, and a conclusion. The first paragraph should give the claim talking about the hypothesis made by the author. This claim will arise several “invisible questions” and the author is then going to explain these questions by writing supporting paragraph having a unlimited numbers. The introduction in the first paragraph should be written in the following ways so that this paragraph will be focused. First, repeat the key noun appearing in the claim in every single introductory sentence. Second, define words, ideas or items necessary to the
