Smith ENG 1D04 Fall 2010: 03 Sequences 2/20 Administrative Details 1. If your tutorials or labs are on Mondays, you will have to make up the tutorial or lab you miss on Thanksgiving. 2. Tutorial 04 will be delayed one week to October 18 (at the usual time, in the usual place). As in ENG 1P03, each successive tutorial will be delayed in turn one week. The last tutorial, Tutorial 11, will be held on December 6 (the last class day). 3. Lab 04 will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 6:309:30 pm in ETB 118 and JHE 233/234 (same rooms as usual). W. M. Farmer and S. Smith ENG 1D04 Fall 2010: 03 Sequences 3/20 Work Plans (i > clicker) How have you been doing with the work plans? A. I have completed all the work plans so far. B. I have completed all the work plans so far except for a few programming exercises. C. I have done only part of each work plan. D. I am behind on doing the work plans. E. Try to isolate what you dont understand! I Formulate questions to ask in the lectures and tutorials. 2. Develop your programs incrementally! I Implement a part, test it, fix the mistakes that are identified, and then repeat the process with another part. I Dont let bugs accumulate interacting bugs are often extremely difficult to unravel.
