Ed Matta Dr. Torok 11/4/10 Music in the US Project 2 For my second project I am going to do a presentation on musical theatre. I chose this topic partly because we barely talked about musical theatre in class. The other reason I picked this topic is because I really enjoy the music that is performed during musicals and I really appreciate the effort the actors put into their work. I am going to present this information by doing a power point. During my presentation, I am going to talk about the following topics: the Middle Ages, Renaissance Age, development of musical comedy, Operettas, roaring twenties, and then I am going to go through all of the decades.
