The play Oedipus the king says many different things of psychological makeup of man and the fate of a person, from which a person never can run away. This play includes about the man of ancient age in Greek, whose god was Apollo. Sophocles shows the psychological makeup of the king Oedipus, and his fortune through which he tried to escape, but he can’t. In the beginning of the play, when people went to Oedipus for help to save them from plague, at that time Oedipus spoke that “ Here I am myself—you all know me, the world knows my fame: I am Oedipus.” This statement express, he was very brilliance, strong, confident, generous, and proud for himself.
