Sonny Boy Williamson | Harmonica Blues Sonny Boy was born near Mississippi. He travelled around Mississippi and associated with Robert Johnson, etc. Sunny Boy moved to Chicago where he joined this Electrified Sound. Keep It To Yourself by Sonny Boy Williamson Muddy Waters | Chicago Blues Muddy was greatly influences by early exposure to some of the great blues men such as Son House, Willie, and Robert Johnson. He was one of the most influential up-and-coming artists in the Chicago movement. He grew up in Mississippi. Got My Mojo Working by Muddy Waters Long Distance Call by Muddy Waters Louis Armstrong | New Orleans - Storyville Created 1897 and closed 1917, New Orleans’ famous legalized re-light district was in this area. Among the many great jazz musicians on the scene here were King Oliver, Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Tony Jackson and Jimmie Noone. Louis dropped out of school at 11 to join an informal vocal group, but on 31 st December, 1912, he fired a gun during New Year’s Eve celebration which caused him to be incarcerated in a school for truant boys – the Waif’s home for Coloured Boys Louis studied under school music teacher Mr. Peter Davis and played cornet and bugle in the school band,
