In this essay the objective is looking at the duties that need to be completed before the patient arrives at the medical office. Upon arriving to the office is unlocking the door and disarming the system so that the alarm will not be triggered in error. After unlocking the door and disarming the system turn on the lights to ensure that there is proper lighting throughout the day in the medical office. Then checking the waiting room area for temperature and comfort to ensure the proper temperature and if necessary adjust the thermostat to the proper temperature for the comfort of the patients waiting in the waiting room and make sure it is neat and clean if necessary vacumn, dust, and water the plants to ensure a pleasant environment for the patients (Young, 2007). Also, check condition and date to see if they are old, torn, or damaged and if necessary discard the ones that are old, out of date, and torn. Check for electric wires that are damaged and furniture and flooring that may cause a patient to fall then report them to the office manager to ensure the problem is taken care of. Then moving on check bathrooms to be sure they are
