Assignment 8 – Due by the beginning of class on Wednesday, November 24th.  If you are planning on being out  of town on Wednesday, you can turn in the assignment in class on Monday, 11/22. This work must be entirely your own work!!!  Please do not use the tables, or other objects, of someone else for  this assignment.  Everything you will build in this assignment will be used in the next assignment so save this  database so you can reuse it!  If you work on this assignment in the computer lab, Save/Backup your database  to your USB drive.   Review the Hair Today conceptual ERD discussed in Tutorial 5, page 393.   In this assignment, we are going to create  the database tables that are derived from this model.  There are some deliberate differences between the material in the  textbook and the instructions for this assignment.  These assignment instructions supersede the example in the textbook  but use the textbook as a guide for completing this assignment.  1. In Access, create a new blank database and save it with a filename that includes   yourlastname_a8   (e.g., my  database would be saved as easton_a8).   This database will be used again for subsequent assignments so be  sure to save it so you will be able to access it for assignment 9. 2. Build the Customer Table using the field type, size, and other property setting specifications shown below.  Keep in  mind the following when creating the tables: Use a naming convention for field names beginning with the table identifier (e.g. CustFirstName instead of  FirstName.) Designate a primary key in each table.    Save each table using a the prefix  tbl  and a descriptive table name (e.g., tblCustomers).    Customer Table Field Definitions  -  (tblCustomers) Field Name Data Type Description Size Primary  Key CustID Text Unique   customer   ID   –   6  character; (Your initials followed  by 0001, 0002, etc)   6 Yes CustFirstNam e Text First name of customer 15 CustLastNam e Text Last name of customer 15 CustAddress Text Street address 40 CustCity Text City 20
