I have learned so much about all the different types of minorities and how they are all broken down into specific parts. The information that gave me the most insight on all of this would be the information from out discussion questions. By seeing everyone else’s views on different topics about minorities it made me look at things in a different way. I can’t say that I have learned anything new about my own culture, but this is not because it did not come up, but because I have always tried to keep educated on where I am from. I believe that by the year 2050 there will be different groups that are considered to be a minority. I have watched several things on CNN when they were speaking about minority groups and they have said that in the next twenty years the minority groups will be

Unformatted text preview: Caucasian and mixed. I cant say that I completely agree with this, but I think it is an educated guess. I also believe that immigration will become less and less. I know that America has been seen as the land of opportunity, but if the United States continue down the road that they have been on then I dont feel that people are going to want to come here as they are now. The only way that the country can prepare for the changes in race and ethnicity is to educate. There are still people that are racist and are teaching their children to be the same way. If we continue to educate everyone the we are all equal it will make this transition easier....
