MNE 210 Midterm Notice: This midterm is to be completed by you and you only. You can use any resource other than other students or instructors. 1. Copy the fresh image 3 times 2. Start up 3 servers. Name them with your first initial last name, and then DC1, DC2 and Client. Example: CBohlDC1, CBohlDC2, CBohlClient. 3. Use the LOCAL ONLY setting in virtual PC for the network adapters. Configure the IPs accordingly so that all your machines are able to ping each other. 4. Promote DC1 to a domain controller for the new domain of Midterm.com 5. Make DC2 a new domain controller on an existing domain for the Midterm.com domain. 6. Join the client to the domain. 7. Create 3 new OUs for the following locations: Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati. 8. Under each OU create 3 more OUs: Groups, Managers, and Users 9. Create 1 user for each Manger and User OU (6 users total created here) When creating users and groups, use a constant naming standard that is descriptive of the group and/or users.
