Nov. 1-3, 2010 1. Lù Zhū ù She was beautiful and talented in music and dance. She jumped out of the Golden Valley mansion and killed herself to show her loyalty to Shi Chong. 2. L ǐ ngnán ù   (“south of the mountain range”; corresponds to modern-day Guăngdōng, Guăngxī, and north Vietnam) This was the place where Lu Zhu was born, and where Shi Chong found her. 3. Shí Chóng ù He was a wealthy politician who fell in love with Lu Zhu when he passed through the village where she lived. He made her his concubine. 4. Jiāo Zh ǐ ù He was the rival of Shi Chong that wanted Lu Zhu. 5. Gold Valley Ravine (Jīn G ǔ Jiàn ù ) This was the place of Shi Chong and Lu Zhu’s retreat. 6. “The Bright Concubine’s Song of Resentment” (Míngfēi Yuàn Gē ù ù )
