Unformatted text preview: summarize the cycle of this type of generators as follow : The water starts in the CRT (Condensate Recovery Tank) transferred by a pump into a boiler, then it became a saturated steam. This saturated steam goes to a super heater which enters the turbine. The superheated steam rotate the blades of the turbine and when the superheated steam passes through the turbine stages, the CCR fans reduce the steam temperature and condense it then it returns to the CRT. The CCR fans located the over the turbines and have many stages . The following figure describes the Steam power plant cycle : The fuel consumption = 300 g/ K.W.H These are some facts about the steam in the power plant : Steam flow = 159 ton/hour Steam temperature = 482 ºC Steam pressure = 63 Kg/cm³ Thermodynamics Report Professor Mousa S.
