Business 111 Midterm Review: Jim McCutcheon’s Lecture Sections A,B,C,D,E Exam Format Part A: 35 Multiple Choice Questions @ 1 mark/question. No correction factor applied. Part B: Short Answer Questions. Total of 25 marks Part C: Problems. 5 Questions (some with several parts) for a total of 40 marks -Tax Table #1(p40), #2(p42), #3 (p42) and #4(p45) will be provided on the exam Required Readings Textbook: “Business” 7th Canadian Edition, R.W. Griffin, R.J. Ebert, F.A. Starke, M.D. Lang, Pearson/Prentice Hall, 2010 The exam will contain 6 multiple choice questions based on the material contained in Chapter 1 "Understanding the Canadian Business System" p6-24, Chapter 2 “Understanding the Environments of Business” p38-63. (3 questions per chapter). The questions will be designed to be relatively straightforward and will test for very general understanding of the subject matter and insure that all students have read this required material. There are no questions on the exam pertaining to Chapter 4 “Understanding Entrepreneurship, Small Business, and New Venture Creation”. You are being indirectly tested on your understanding of the material contained in this chapter via your New Venture Project.
