Unformatted text preview: Course Announcements • Remember On-Line Lab Registration for BU111 Labs Begins Tomorrow at 7:00 am • Regular BBA’s (non-double degree) enroll in Labs B1-B29 • Double Degree (Laurier/UofW Math/Business and UofW Computing/Business ) enroll in Labs D1- D6 • Double Degree (Laurier Financial Math/Business and Laurier Computing/Business ) enroll in Labs B1-B29 • University of Waterloo based double degree students must register for labs using their Laurier ID number (otherwise we are unable to transfer your final grade to UofW), so have it available when you register • You will also register your I Clicker so have it available when you register for Labs • If you do not yet have your I Clicker it can be registered at a later date on our website but if it is not purchased and registered prior to your first lab you will receive no clicker marks • Also remember to register your free subscription to Canadian Business (for those who purchased a new text). Have your PIN number available • Remember that you must enrol in the same lab for both first and second term. You can not change labs in BU121 (second term). • Labs Begin Next Week September 20-24 Preparation for First Lab • Read “What Is A Case” in the Lab Manual • Read the “Joe McBrine” case • Be prepared to discuss the case using the format outlined in the “What Is A Case” reading • It is NOT necessary to write the case up for submission to your TA • However, it would be a good idea to jot some of your thoughts down on paper to facilitate discussion Posting of PowerPoint Slides • I will always post my slides immediately after my last lecture of the day (after 5:30pm on the day of class) • Forces you to take good lecture notes in class as opposed to simply “looking” at the slide • Everything that you see on the screen will be posted (no need to recopy the slides) •...
