EXERCISE PSYCHOLOGY THE STUDY OF INFLUENCE THAT SPORT AND EXERCISE HAVE ON ONES PSYCHOLOGY AND BEHAVIOUR. 3. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY THE EXPENDITURE OF ENERGY, EITHER PURPOSELY OR WITHOUT INTENTION, AS A RESULT OF BODILY MOVEMENTS PRODUCED BY SKELETAL MUSCLES AS PART OF LE ISURE OR WORK ACTIVITIES. 4. PHYSICAL FITNESS PHYSIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONING (INCLUDING CARDIORESPIRATORY ENDURANCE, MUSCULAR ENDURANCE, MUSCULAR STRENGTH, BODY COMPOSITION, AND FLEXIBILITY) THAT INFLUENCES THE ABILITY TO PERFORM PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. 5. SPORT AN ACTIVITY THAT INVOLVES RULES OR L IM ITS, A SENSE OF H ISTORY, AN ASPECT OF WINNING AND LOSING, AND AN EMPHASIS ON PHYSICAL EXERTION IN THE CONTEXT OF COMPETITION. 6. ACTIVE LEISURE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE THAT IS ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVITIES SUCH AS HOBBIES, PLAYING A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, AND EXERCISE. 7. PASSIVE LEISURE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE THAT IS ASSOCIATED WITH LACK OF ACTIVITY (E.G., LISTENING TO MUSIC, DAYDREAMING). 8. ISOMETRIC EXERCISE EXERCISE THAT INVOLVES THE CONTRACTION OF A MUSCLE GROUP AGAINST AN I MMOVABLE OBJECT WITHOUT MOVEMENT IN THE BODY. 9. ISOTONIC EXERCISE EXERCISE THAT INVOLVES USING WEIGHTS OR CALISTHENICS TO PLACE TENSION ON THE MUSCLE THROUGH THE SHORTENING OR LENGTHENING OF THE MUSCLE GROUP....
