Citi Ethics 2 CitiFinancial Ethical Final Paper In this paper I will provide analysis and evaluation of my values and ethics pertaining to ethics in the organization for which I work for CitiFinancial. I will demonstrate my understanding of the course work set before me through detailed examples of my life experience as well text book examples. I will provide analysis and evaluation of my values and ethics pertaining to ethics in the organization for which I work for CitiFinancial as well as other companies I have worked for. I will share my personal values, personal vision/mission statement and a personal code of ethics. I will then discuss CitiFinancial's workplace values, culture/climate, vision/mission statement. I will then discuss CitiFinancial's social responsibilities and your appraisal of whether and how effectively it meets those responsibilities. I will follow with a CitiFinancial's ethical analysis and training programs, and an evaluation of their strengths and weaknesses. Finally I will discuss the moral philosophy's CitiFinancial's that I affirm most and least with. I will give specific, detailed examples of circumstances and contexts. I will provide examples from the text as well as from my personal life to demonstrate me a deep understanding of the material. Finally this paper will show what I have learned in this course through understanding and application of knowledge in real life situations. First I will explain my personal values and a personal code of ethics that guide me as a loan officer and as a future manager. Citi Ethics 3 lot of things and have worked for a lot of institutions. I can firmly say this is a good theory. I have worked on both sides of lending. Prime borrowers are good credit risk borrowers and sub prime lending are people with less then perfect credit. I have seen first hand there is no way to evaluate the lending to a prime borrower and that to a sub prime borrower who carries much more risk. I first started mortgage lending in the late 1990’s; I worked for a prime lender at the time Countrywide Home Loans. The standards for credit risk and underwriting were very difficult with normal rates. At that time people needed a high credit score 680 minimum and have a down payment saved. Then sub prime lending took off and I quickly went to the subprime lending of Countrywide called Full Spectrum Lending. FSL had a much different credit risk scale and at the same time paid us the loan officers about double of my previous position. FSL required no down payment and a minimum of a 580 credit score.
