The most recent Business Confidence Survey by Administaff Inc. (NYSE: ASF) says 58 percent of business owners surveyed believe the U.S. economy will rebound in 2010. An additional 14 percent expect a rebound by the end of this year. Some 83 percent of the survey respondents say the economy is their biggest concern for 2009, while 53 percent cite government health-care reform. Almost 45 percent say controlling operating costs is their biggest concern. Only 15 percent of the respondents anticipate their sales to decline during the remainder of 2009, and 41 percent forecast a sales increase. Thirty-five percent predict their sales will stay the same. In addition, 60 percent say they are meeting or exceeding their 2009 performance plans.
