DDI09 Clark Jennings Full Employment Case Neg Will Hardwicke-Josh Thorn Strat Sheet Okay, well this aff is pretty annoying to answer The 1ac gives 6-7 nuclear wars depending on how they read it. They have almost infinite add-ons based on giving people jobs. The strategy should be to put up a bunch of stuff the 2ac has to answer, because if they get access their case (and I think they will be able to if the 2ac isn’t time pressured) then you will be in trouble. To beat them, you are going have to solve the case or at least their jobs advantage. That is why you should probably read all of the solvency stuff and all of the jobs stuff (but highlight it down, I’m no good at highlighting). Be ready to make a real time investment here, their cards are probably a little better (they have two authors who think this would be the greatest thing ever and no one else writes about it), but you are probably closer to the truth, and the longer you spend there the more obvious that will become States probably solve, but expect a lot of answers either to the taxes part or to overturning the balanced budget amendments. If they win that states have to deficit spend then you get no solvency. You might notice a lack of extensions- that’s because cigarettes is put out a third wave file and budget amendments is just a theory question Cap links. Biopower links. Coercion links. There aren’t any super specific links in this file because the only people who talk about this aff are economists. Coercion doesn’t link as hard as it seems like at first ‘cause they only offer the jobs, they don’t force people to take them. I threw in a Baudrillard card, but that was mostly because I was like, man I’ve got a Baudrillard book, look at how cool I am. Now that you all know how cool I am, I should tell you that I have no idea what the hell it says (the tag I put could be close, but then again, who knows?) Anyway if you know what that card says and it actually applies go for it. T- I don’t think its topical Oh also and this is IMPORTANT- they only defend 5% unemployment- our 5% unemployment CP isn’t competitive, I think it’s possible that not everyone is running it that way MAKE SURE THEY CLARIFY IN CX if you plan on running this- if you do then you need to think hard about the nb- some of the case stuff 1
