It has over 800 outlets in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam. It is popular for arranging parties and events, like “July 4th Fireworks” and “Thanksgiving-Day Parade”. Having a rich traditional background nearing 150-years, Marcy’s has contributed a lot by donating to charities, thus helping in strengthening the communities it works in. Strategy to move its retail stores seems a tricky one. With an obvious success in US, there is a greater chance for Marcy’s Inc. of being successful in Canada as well. Not to forget that an opportunity always comes with a risk attached to it. But I will be focusing only on Environmental risks in Canada and ways to curtail and curb such risks. With more awareness amongst the consumers, we now see that green fashion and organic materials are getting popular day-by-day. Environmental risk involves several factors including taking care of the emission of chemicals during the production process.
