Department of Mechanical Engineering MEEN 260 Measurement and Instrumentation in Mechanical Engineering Fall 2010 Exam #2 Specifications Exam #2 will take place on Wednesday December 1, 2010 at 9:10AM in our regular classroom (CHEN 106.) The exam will be designed for a 50 minute time slot and will include roughly 3-4 problems. Problems may involve calculations and/or questions on concepts covered during the semester but emphasis is placed on the material from the second half of the semester. There may be peripheral references to the lab material but the emphasis will be on the lectures and assignments. Lecture notes are clearly important and supersede the text but you also need to be sure to be familiar with the material covered from the text and in particular a. Data Acquisition, Sampling, and Response of Measurement Systems (Chs. 4, 5, and 8.11) b. Sensor Technologies (Chs. 6, 7.1-7.10, and parts of 11-18 as necessary)
