In this experiment , the objective is the determination of flash and fire point of a petroleum product -Diesel- by using a method called( Cleveland open cup tester ). It is known that each liquid before it’s bubble point temperature ,it starts vaporization and forming a very thin layer of the vapor that liquid ,so if it is flammable , at a certain temperature it will start flashing then at higher degree it will start burning an d a fire will start.The indication of these temperature will help us in the conditions of dealing ,storing ,transporting of this product to assure the maximum possible safety and to prevent any hazardous problems.These
