Dmitriy Uchitel HIS 2053 Where the Afghani and Iraqi wars necessary yes or no? The Afghani war began between NATO troops that backed Northern Alliance and the Taliban and Islamist organization, which controlled up to this most of Afghanistan. One of the stages of the Afghan civil war that has continued since 1978. The United States carried out an operation in Afghanistan under Operation Enduring Freedom, launched in response to the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001. Iraq War that started on March 20, 2003 was a military conflict that began with the invasion of U.S. forces and their allies in Iraq to overthrow Saddam Hussein's regime. The formal reason for the war was the information that CIA had about whether Iraq possessed stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction, which later we found was false information. In addition, Russian intelligence has found that between 11 September 2001 and the beginning of the Iraq war, that Iraq’s government agencies were preparing terrorist attacks against the U.S. This information was provided to American colleagues. It should be noted that in the past the U.S. planned to kill Saddam Hussein and the overthrow Iraq. In this essay we will see the reasons why the Afghani war was necessary and Iraqi wars was not necessary. Since 1996, the capital and much of the territory of Afghanistan were controlled by the Taliban. The number one terrorist Osama bin Laden has been granted refuge in Afghanistan and U.S. authorities were searching for him. Taliban refused to extradite bin Laden after the bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998. After the attacks of September 11, 2001, U.S. President George W. Bush launched the Taliban an ultimatum: as soon as possible to extradite bin Laden to American justice, as well as the entire leadership of al-Qaida. September 21 Taliban refused, saying that Americans have not provided sufficient proof of involvement in the organization to the attacks in New York and Washington DC. On Sept. 22 the only two States recognized the Taliban regime UAE, Saudi Arabia, the third country that recognized the Emirate of Afghanistan was Pakistan, they broke down the diplomatic relations with
