Music 206 07/28/2007 Concert Jazz Report On Sunday, July 8, 2007, there was a performance held at the Jazz Alley, by a 5 people - jazz band called the Acoustic Alchemy (2 guitarists, 1 drummer, 1 organ, and 1 bass). There was a guy who played the saxophone; however, he was not on the stage all the time. He only appeared when certain songs were played. The concert started at around 7 in the evening and went on till about 9.30 at night. The band is a British contemporary instrumental and smooth jazz band formed in England in the early 1980s ( 1981 ), originally fronted by acoustic guitarists Nick Webb and Simon James . The band is currently fronted by Greg Carmichael and Miles Gilderdale . This was the first time I actually went into jazz concerts in US. It looked like some kind of lounge that I had always seen on the television. The lounge was big with many sets of small tables and chairs for the audience to settle on. The sets were for the smaller group such as 2 to 3 people. For a larger group like us, we were to occupy the larger table with some sort of leather couch (which can only be up to 5 people). We
