MAE 334 Lab 2 We would like to generate two calibration curves – one using the thermocouple voltage as measured by the DMM – this one plots dial thermometer temperature (on the y axis) vs. thermocouple probe voltage (on the x axis). The second calibration curve should use the thermocouple probe temperature as indicated by the DMM. This curve should plot dial thermometer temperature (on the y axis) vs. thermocouple probe temperature (on the x axis). These curves allow two choices of measuring temperature with the thermocouple probe. (1) Read the voltage signal from the DMM and use the curve to find the temperature. This is the traditional approach to temperature measurement. (2) Read the temperature value from the DMM (using its signal processing ability) and make adjustments (as necessary) using the second calibration curve. On your calibration curves, make use of all thirty of your data points. For both curves, show the linear trend line which fits the calibration data and display the trend line
