Chapman 1 The Unfinished Nation Part 1: Episodes 35 and 36 These episodes were mainly about World War I . Towards the end of the progressive era tensions ran at an all time high between the U . S . and several other nations . Once the Archduke of Austria was assassinated the gloves were off . The War to End All Wars began in 1914 and lasted four horrible long years . When all was said and done the U . S . came out on top . Even though 15 million people died (the most in history) I feel like this war was absolutely necessary for the future progression of the United States . In a sense war is just a game; each nation has to prove that they truly are the strongest, and smartest . It is like playing chess or playing a game of basketball, the only way to earn bragging rights is to defeat the opponent . The Allies eventually mopped up the Central Powers and won the game . During the course of the war many things had to be changed on the home front to compensate for all the missing men .

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
