Chapman 1 The Unfinished Nation Part 1: Episodes 33 and 34 The progressive era as a time of reformation and everything from politics down was changing . I have broken the video and the progressive era in fact into two main categories. The way I see it, Women and minorities wanted rights, so I feel it appropriate to have a suffrage category . The other category is politics, according to the all knowing Wikipedia, one of the main focuses of the progressive era was removing corruption from politics . I used Wikipedia because I did not feel that I understood enough about the progressive era after watching the video . The first thing I would like to address from the progressive era is women’s suffrage . What is suffrage? Suffrage it the right to vote, moreover it is the right to be heard by your peers . By allowing women to have this right, society was able to overcome the first step of social in justice . Now that women have the ability to nay say maybe things will get done. I am not sure
