Chapman M Michael Chapman Communication 101 Jamie Lange SNOWDAY!!! It was a cold winters day when I embarked on my journey through the complex labyrinth of English literature that is my communication textbook. Awoken by a pair of ecstatic amigos, both had a solid grasp on the usage of paralanguage that one would usually see at a BSU football game. As you can imagine my tolerance for any form of human communication , especially at this decibel, at 9:00 am on a Wednesday morning, ceases to exist. Pushing my face deeper into my pillow I manage to muster up enough energy to wittily mumble “what the f***!?!” with which they simultaneously reply SNOW DAY!!! At this moment I seem to be jolted awake as if the words “snow day” had some sort of symbolic meaning. My perception soon changed once I was able to organize my thoughts. “Shucks!” I yell as they frolic down the stairs and outside to build a snowman.
