Question 1) One of the quizze s : A energy diagram with Eth ice,(increasing) , Eth water (decreasing) and one Eb( increasing/decreasing) depending on the variable + the appropriate indicators ( temp and mass). The energy conservation was deltaEth ice+ deltaEth water+delta Eb= 0 ( since it was a close system). Then they plug in the formulas for each change of energy and have only one unknown delta m (change in mass), which turns out to be around 0.07kg. And to answer the question till the end (perfect) they should have done m ice= 0.8 + 0.07=0.87 kg and m water=0.5-0.07=0.43kg The other quiz : A energy diagram with Eth ice,(increasing) , Eth water (decreasing) and one
