Types of Problems for exam: ADI problems: Know how to do these problems for the following scenarios: Indoor at home, inhalation: To calculate the EF for these, you need to consider how often the people are at home. For exposure duration, it will either be how long they live at the house or how long the pollutant is realized. Inhalation at work: To calculate the EF for these, you will need to consider how often they are at work. For exposure duration, it is how long people typically work at a job. Ingestion: You should know how to do this for water ingestion. You do not need to know how to do inhalation resulting from volatilization in the shower. Probabilistic Risk : Be sure to use ADI for these problems. Make sure the units match up. I will ask these as “what is the risk from this exposure scenario.” It will either be an inhalation or water ingestion problem. Non-Cancer Risk : Be sure to know how to determine if intake will be of concern for non-cancer endpoints. Exposure Model Problems:
