Comparison Between Beowulf and Supernatural The story of Beowulf reminds me of the T.V. Show called Supernatural. Both of these, Beowulf and Supernatural , have brave warriors that fight Demons in order to save others and prevent farther destruction from happening. In Beowulf , a brave warrior named Beowulf sails across the sea to Denmark in order to search out King Hrothgar and to restore peace in the Hrothgar Kingdom by killing the fiend, Grendel, that has been striking the kingdom at night and killing their people. The peace is once again restored until another night when Grendel's mother comes to avenge her son's death. Beowulf is summoned once again to kill another fiend. In Supernatural , Sam and Dean Winchester were trained to be warriors by their father, John Winchester, who became obsessed with the supernaturals after his wife, Mary Winchester, was killed by a supernaturally evil being. Twenty-two years later, the Winchester brothers set out on a journey to stop the demon that killed their mother. Along the way, they help any person with a supernatural problem. The Winchester brothers are determined to stop the demon's apocalyptic plans from happening in the near future by killing every supernatural thing they encounter....
