Axia College Material Appendix G Peer Review Checklist * What is the main point of this essay? That the public has a right to know what goes on in the courtroom. What is the greatest strength of this essay? The greatest strength of this essay is reiterating your main point throughout the writing; this leaves the reader with a clear understanding of your viewpoint. Another great strength is that you present both sides of the argument, and give examples of good media coverage vs. negative coverage. You also provided a solution, reporting on facts only, and no speculation, which can cause bias. I think that providing a solution makes this paper more convincing. Does the introduction grab your interest and make you want to read on? Explain your answer. The introduction does grab my interest by asking a question. I think the introduction is somewhat weakened by saying “Through out this paper”. It breaks the flow of the introduction.
