Homework #2 Use the following device constants unless otherwise noted Cox=2E 8 F/cm 2 , n = 3500 cm 2 /V sec, V TN =0.2 V, p =1500 cm 2 /V sec, and V TP = 0.25 V 1. Find the dimensions for transistors N3 and N4 in the current mirror that bias transistor N5 at V DSAT . Set I REF =I OUT =10uA. Use N1=(W=10um, L=0.25um) and N2=N5=(W=25um, L=5um). The bias current for device N3 is 2uA. Ignore channel length modulation and the bulk effect. 2. Analyze the small signal gain for the differential amplifier using the superposition technique. Assume the current source is open,   o r , and the source coupled point is not ground. 3. Analyze the single ended to differential amplifier shown. First find an expression for the voltage gain from V IN to V B assuming the source coupled point is a small signal ground. (Assume V B = V IN and the dc operating point of V B =V IN .)
